Patient Forms

Upon entering our office our receptionist will greet you and welcome you as a member of our family.  Being a paperless office, there are no lengthy forms for you to fill out. In fact, there are no forms at all! Our registration process only takes a couple of minutes.

Consultation

Next you will have a consultation with one of the doctors to determine if we can help you with your chief complaint. From our experience we will try to let you know how long it will take to help you, what you can expect from our chiropractic care plan and what the cost will be.

Examination

Your health and making you better is our primary concern at Sea Isle Spine Center. Our examination of you will help us determine how we are going to accomplish that. You will recieve a throrough chiropractic examination which includes appropriate orthopedic and neurological tests, a complete biomechanical evaluation and postural analysis.

X-Ray Studies

Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.  Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Report of Findings

We have collected a great deal of data that has to be analyzed and interpreted. The results of the information we gathered from the consultation, history, exam and x-rays will be presented to you in a report that you can understand and take with you. You will know the following from this report of our findings:

1. Whether or not you are a candidate for chiropractic care.
2. What is causing your chiropractic problems.
3. What is the best course of action we can take to improve your contition.
4. How long it will take for you to get better.
5. How much it will cost to feel as normal as possible again.

Chiropractic Care

After the report of findings and you have a good understanding of what our chiropractic objectives are, you will begin your chiropractic care. If you are in acute, severe pain, our staff at Sea Isle Spine Center is trained in the latest therapies to help you with the inflammation that is causing the majority of your pain. These involve various modalities ranging from ice packs to electric stimulation to cold laser treatments. Once the inflammation is reduced, you will begin specific chiropractic adjustments that have been determined by your doctor and explained in the care plan that is part of your report of findings.

Wellness Program

Prior to leaving, patients will be instructed on a wellness program to be conducted at home. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include ice application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.  If you desire an overall wellness lifestyle, our wellness team will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success.  Every body is unique and different and therefore everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan.  The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
